If You are in a budget travel to Cairo this hostel is not a bad place to stay in. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The elevator is very old and looks like "tower of terror" but my family are still alive after the several uprides. You need the elevator because if You choose to walk up you have to climb five levels up. The lobby is beduin decorated and no windows (just courtains). And a stupid shower, not separated?, in the middle of the bathroom. There is 4 bathrooms to share with other guests. Anyway, we had a great time. The staff helped us with everything and they sent us a lovely guide who showed us the pyramids by camel and horsewagon. He also took us to the Ramses perfumes palace and a papyrus shop. In the evening we took a trip on the Nile by boat with buffé and shows. This was an unforgetable visit. And if you want to spend Your holiday in a kind of bohemian style this is the right place.

the management is never ever courteous. all they ask for , from the moment you step in is for the " FULL BOOKING AMOUNT". it became quite irritating after the first day when we were requested at least 4 times, evry time one of us stepped out of the room. we had booked for a family room with 4 beds, on arrival were given only 3 beds.... no refunds. had to share. the room was supposed to be air-con, but we were provided with pnly a afn for 4 adults. the elevator rarely works and you still have to climb a full floor to reach the property. further, the breakfast provided is pathetic.

METHODS OF PAYMENT
Venere.com does not debit your credit card for your reservations. You will be asked to insert your credit card details which will be sent to the property only as a guarantee of the reservation. The bill will then have to be settled directly at the hotel. In case your chosen hotel needs a deposit, this information will be included in the "Cancellation policy" section and the deposit will have to be settled directly with the pre-selected property. It is not possible to cancel your reservation if you selected and booked a room indicated as "PREPAID/NOT REFUNDABLE". In this case, the total amount of your stay will be charged to your credit card by the hotel at the time of booking.
CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT
Check-in: the rooms are available at any time from 7 a.m. until noon.
Check-out: it is necessary to leave the rooms between noon and 2 p.m.
INCLUDED/NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE
Taxes and service charges are not included.
The wireless Internet access and use of the property's computer is included in the price.
Parking is free of charge for the 1st night, and then costs EGP 20.00 per day.
All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using the existing bedding in the room.
One child from 6 to 12 years is charged 50% of the room stay per night in an extra bed.
The pick-up service from Cairo International Airport is only included in the price for guests staying a minimum of 4 nights, otherwise it costs $15.00.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of no-show or late cancellation we will charge one night on your credit
card.
