Hotel is very impersonal, romm was extremely dark. Interior dated; looks like it was very modern some 10 years ago. The convent part of it is, probably, better, but our room was in the new part.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It's a lovely hotel in a great location and the staff couldn't have been nicer. The service in this hotel is excellent and we would stay there again. Although our room was next to the lift, it was very quiet and we couldn't hear the outside traffic. The price we paid via Venere was considerably less than it would have been direct with the hotel. It was great value for money. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant. It was expensive but good quality and the service was first class.

A beautiful hotel, well-finished, in a great location to explore Granada - both for siteseeing and shopping. Very attractive courtyard and public areas. Staff on front desk charming, but waiters not quite so, though service good. Rooms smart and spotless, with free mini-bar. Happy to go back there anytime.

On arrival the hotel had no record of our booking which led to us spending an hour on the internet trying to track down copies of our booking to convince them that we had indeed booked a two night stay and also had been quoted a more favourable rate than the one they were offering. We had a delux room on the first night due to the mix up which was very good but the standard room on the following night was a connecting room with no apparent sound proofing between us and our neighbours.

lovely reception, restaurant, sauna etc, but the room could do with an overhall, paint chipping, furniture scratched etc. At these prices everything should be 100%. Lots of street noise at night.

How to reach Hotel AC Palacio de Santa Paula

By car
From the Granada Federico García Lorca airport drive towards Santa Fe (A44 road). From the ring-road take the exit 148 Mendez Núñez and go straight through the Fuente Nueva ave. Turn right on Rector López Argüeta street and after two blocks turn left on Calle Arandas, which leads to Gran Vía de Colón, where the hotel is located.
