abba Queen's Gate London Hotel - London

Disappointing "4 stars." Yes, the services are provided but MINIMALLY. Tiny over-furnished rooms; very limited but expensive food choices in hotel; workout room equipped for 1-2 people. Some staff barely spoke English making requests for assistance difficult, and one male desk clerk was surly & unhelpful. We got a better map & more information during a visit to a nearby hotel when considering a switch. Still, clean, quiet, safe, well-located in lovely neighborhood and within a 10 minute walk to the underground.

We would definitely return to the Abba Queens Gate Hotel. The location is fantastic and close to quite a few London attractions. The tube transport is very convenient from two nearby stations. Our room was quiet and clean with really comfortable beds and pillows. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a stylish and comfortable place to stay without paying a fortune.

Very nice and well located hotel, situated in a calm and elegant area, next to the Hyde Park, to museums, within 5-minute walk to two "tube" stations. Didn't try hotel's breakfast, but went to Le Pain Quotidien, on Thurloe Place, a great place to have breakfast, 100-m away from South Kensignton subway station. Good surroundings, too (restaurats, market, bus stops). We would definetely recommend this hotel to anyone going to London on vacation or business purposes.

The hotel was great and just as advertised. The reception staff didn't offer any information on the facilities available or actually speak apart from handing the key and taking payment! The hotel is very handy for the Natural History and Science Mueseum and they didn't object when we booked in 2 hours early.

Very nice hotel located to a marvelous neighborhood!

The position of the hotel is ideal for every purpose,not far from tube and bus stations in a quite noble quater.probabely there are also rooms at the backside of the house that the traffic doesn`t disturb your night`s rest.

El hotel esta bien en general,la zona muy bonita y bien situada, el desayuno bueno y los empleados casi todos españoles y amables. La estación de metro para mi un poco lejos del hotel

Nice hotel in good area, very friendly staff. Rooms not too spacious, but normal for London and thankfully not stuffed with big, heavy furniture like in many other hotels, but smaller pieces. All I needed was there. I will certainly come back.

Everything about the hotel was excellent. It's what you see on the internet. The breakfast buffet was satisfying with the best coffee. We stayed in 1007 and the room was beautiful and the bathroom large. Request a fan if visiting in the summer. The tube stop was an easy walk and the neighborhood safe. I plan on staying at the Abba Queen's Gate hotel when visiting in October.

Expensive. Wound up in room in the basement.

I was very surprised at the size of the room. The room was very spacious. I stayed with my three children and there was enough room to move about freely. The staff was very helpful with anything that we required. Very well located and I can't believe that we went all the way from Bangkok to stay next door to the Thai embassy, made us feel right at home.

I often use venere for booking hotels in europe and this is first time i am very disapointed.Abba hotel is in good location,near Hyde park.My room was absolutely like cell-10sq.m.No air condition.Room was very warm.you have to open the window to breath but the street is very noisy.They wanted me to pay in advance and didnt accept my VISA and Dinners cards!They collect deposit of 20 pounds for the mini bar!Breakfast is not included.At the check out i ordered a cab and they send me an illegal one who charged me 2 times more then normal.I would never book this hotel again.

Warth the money! Clean, good location, continental breakfast OK, friendly staff.

Excellent room service. Although the room was located towards the street area there was no traffic noice. The bathroom could have been a bit larger. We would recomend the hotel, its location close to Hyde Park and in a quiet area. Only one thing, it is some 20 minutes walk to the nearest underground.
