Hotel Abba Parque - Bilbao

A very good location hotel in Bilbao. Not noisy. Stafvis very helpfull.

This hotel is very well located ; the prices are correct. However, I would not recommend it for the cleanliness of rooms : dirty paintings and floor, moulds in the bathroom... It does not justify the mark attribuated (8,4)

Very good location for motorway links and just about within walking distance of the Bilbao sites. The room (Junior Suite) was excellent, well equipped and loads of space for a family.

Spacious hotel with plenty of services available. Well located and near to tramway and bus stops.

This is a very well located hotel, with a wonderful rate for 5 days. Here we had the best breakfasts during our 30 days family trip through Europe. It is a bit expensive (13 euros) and restaurant personnel is kind of rough, but still ok. We had a rented car and found the parking spaces very reduced and the whole underground parking lot tight and difficult to go through. Free internet access through the hotel´s computer is available with a password that lasts 20 minutes only. I would suggest to bring the own laptop for an unlimited access at the lobby area. There was a water leak on the roof of our room the first night due to the A/C, but they immediately fix it. There is a bar right next door to have a coffe or a beer or even dinner before bedtime, that closes at 11 or 12 with tables outside also. The Abba Parque is a very good option when in Bilbao, I am 55 and feel commited with Venere.com to write an accurate review, since they provided an impecable service during our 30 days trip with about 15 bookings, but as far as my teenager daughter is concerned, this hotel is a must. Note: This hotel is very popular for groups and conferences, I suggest to book well in advance to get the best rate.

Some of the people at Reception had no English whatsoever. People were friendly.

I was just staying for a short weekend trip and really only went to the hotel to sleep at night. I cant say anything bad about my experience. The staff was really nice and the room was very comfortable.

Fine modern high-rise hotel, if a touch sterile. Location is outstanding, near river, park, museum, and Cafe Mugi--the finest place to eat we could find in Spain.

Surely raccomandable. I could'nt think of an hotel, with better accomodations and services so well located (5 mnts walk from Gugghenheim Museum, 2minutes from the stadium; 5 minutes from the coach station. I stayed there only for 5 days alas!

A fairly good value but tired around the edges...was an easy walk to the Guggenheim and City Center, altho more than 15 minutes to City Center. The cafe next door has excellent cafe con leche and a croissant for 1.50 euro.

Super friendly staff, got a great room, I only think it is relatively expensive, if it was cheaper I would have stayed there my entire time in Bilbao, I had to find somewhere else for two nights that was 50% less. However, Abba Parque is still an excellent hotel and with great staff. Thanks

Staff very friendly and helpful. Welcoming to children. Great advice on getting around and what to see. Good internet access and printing facility. Room spacious. Bathroom spacious and very well stocked. Air conditioning quiet and effective. Really enjoyed our stay.

We're very satisfied with our accomodations. The staff was polite and helpful even though not many staff members speak English. Note that the main language of the Bilbao area is Euskera. Spanish is actually more like a 2nd language, with English being spoken only by younger people and not everywhere at that. Recommendation: Try the tavern Berton Goikoa right next to the hotel, they have excellent tapas (jamon serrano, jamon iberico, various seafoods) and great atmosphere.

We stay three days in Bilbao and the hotel was very well situated, near lot of interesting thing and ten minutes walk to casco viejo. Well comunicated by bus, underground. The employees were very kind and solicitus

The hotel is not bad. 12-15 minutes of walk from the Guggenheim museum. The garage is at 23 euros and it is necessary to make a reservation in advance. Parking in the neighboring area is for a similar price.

Nice hotel in town center close to the Guggenheim Museum and the renovated riverside. Services of hotel are a poor but this is tipical of the largest part of spanish hotel chains (reasonable price but very minimum service).

The place was nice and close to all of the hystorical site. The best thing is that you can use bikes for free to discover the city. I would recommend this place to young coples but also to mature ones because the staff and the hotel were amazing. Big and clean room.

Very professional hotel service, a bit too quick and too the point. Clean room although found it quite old, especially the bathroom and carpet, breakfast a little over priced. ... but generally good value for money, good location and clean!

Internet access is not free except if you travel with your pc and so use wifi access rooms are old fashioned that if it was the main touristic season

We travel all over Europe each summer, my wife and now 19 year old son, typically staying in the 100 Euro / night price point. This was the one of the best hotel room evers for the price, as it was a 200 euro / night room for less than 100 Euro the night we booked it. Large room for three, not a double room with an extra bed squeezed in the walkway. Only complaint is that the wireless internet was not free in the rooms, but only in the hotel lobby, but then that is true for most of Spain it seems. A very beautiful town that is a must see. Great location for property!

The Hotel is not located in the city center but is just 15 minutes walk from everywhere and Bilbao is a city to walk.

Locaton is perfect for a visit in the city. Good value fore money

Ottimo hotel, tranquillo, silenzioso, posizione vantaggiosa. Per chi arriva dall'Italia in macchina, nella zona si parcheggia senza problemi...unico neo la "freddezza" degli addetti alla reception, ma abbiamo capito che è un po' una caratteristica basca... Perfetto il rapporto qualità-prezzo.

I servizi igienici erano assolutamente insufficienti. Il w.c. non scaricava e c'era un ritorno di quanto depositato

10 Minutes walk from Guggenheim; well positioned and good location.

It was my first time in Bilbao and I think this hotel is very good to visit the city above all for the relationship between price and quality

It's a nice, clean, quiet hotel, well run, and in easy walking distance from pretty much anything you might want to see in Bilbao. We would definitely stay there again.

Disappointed that hotel dinning room was closed on Monday Night. However ate at Baden Baden. Very good value & welcoming

Apart from the cold, unwelcoming receptionists I fully enjoyed my stay in the hotel. I was given a spacious double room on the 12th floor with a fantastic view. I could sleep with the window wide open without having any street noise. As I was travelling further south the hotel was very conveniently located near the Termibus and also within walking distance of the Guggenheim and the shopping district. For those who don't like to walk the tram/metro stop to go into town was just around the corner. I paid a 3-star price for a 4-star room and I will surely return to the hotel the next time I visit Bilbao.

Giusto per qualità/prezzo

It's a really good hotel, i recommend it to everyone who wants to go with his/her partner!!! the only problem: the price. it has to do with what it offers, but for students is a bit expensive...

L'unica pecca è la citta' di Bilbao... un po' troppo calma... comunque e' un buon punto di partenza per altre citta' dei paesi baschi..

Loved the hotel, it was nice and cozy and I walked to all the places I was interested. Bilbao was extremely beatiful and the people very friendly.

I would stay here again. Good value for the price. Not too far from the Guggenheim. The area felt safe, even at nigth.

Parking 18 Euros/night should be info on the booking or page. Excellent location. Rooms toward the back is quiet even if the hotell is in the middle of city.

Si trova a cinque minuti a piedi dal Guggenheim, e a dieci minuti dalla città vecchia, raggiungibile con la metro in tre minuti. L'albergo non è male, le stanze sono tenute bene e pulite, abbiamo avuto però qualche problema con il parcheggio: molto caro (18 euro a notte, iva esclusa, che però in Spagna è bassa), e i posti non sono assegnati, abbiamo dovuto lasciare le macchina fuori per due notti perchè il parcheggio era pieno...

No puedo contestar a sus preguntas porque no hablo inglés. Si me pasan este cuestionario en castellano o francés lo contestaré con mucho gusto. De todas formas el hotel nos pareció muy bien situado, limpio, la habitación espaciosa y el trato del personal muy agradable. TUTTO OTTIMO, SPECIALMENTE IL RAPPORTO QUALITA/PREZZO....UN PO' CARO IL PARCHEGGIO. EVERYTHING WAS VERY NICE ESPECIALLY THE PRICE...JUST ONE THING...THE PARKING IS QUITE EXPENSIVE. TODO BIEN...LAS HABITACIONES NO SON MAS CARAS Y SON AMABLE. EL GARAJE ES UN POCHITO CARO.

From the commentaries of other customers, we were afraid that hotel employees were going to be rude to us, but to our surprise they were ok. Not excesively kind with us but satisfactory. They had a breakfast special that was pretty good due to a holiday.

El hotel esta muy bien y mejor su precio, cerca de todo, con instalaciones muy agradables y cuartos con todo lo necesario. Sus empleados no son muy amables no espere una sonrisa de bienvenida.

The quality was exactly what I expected. I would simply say breakfast is slightly too expensive and the welcome is not very friendly. Correct but very impersonal. At times, you even get the impression your presence is bothering the staff....

The hotel was conveniently located. The bar closed at 10.00p.m. when we had just returned for a nightcap. I thought the reception personnel could have been more welcoming, with a smile maybe.

The only point I found not satisfactory was that they couldn't guarantise me parking for my car. Otherwise the service was excellent

In general, very good hotel. The only complaiint is about the breakfast: they only have the "buffet" solution and it's quite expensive (11 € per person. We had to go out for having breakfast in one of the bar nearby the hotel.

The hotel was ok. If you want to use the fitness, you have to pay for it. The breakfast was good.

Well, on 14th Aug. afternoon i've booked for 2 night on 15th/16th of August. This was the only hotel with a free double room. Fortunatly i got a special offer (50 euro + vat per room per night), so i could spent 2 days in a 3star hotel for the price of a pension. The hotel was really good, situated near the center of the city, 10 min by walk from the Guggheneim musuem... ;-)

Fairly costly but worth it, views of the guggenheim and excellent rooms.
